I have a question....

I will be RMAing my motherboard in the near future and I know that I have an OEM Vista. I read somewhere that the serial is tied to the motherboard but I also plan to install 64bit Vista on my computer with that serial key soon. Will I encounter a problem?

No you won't have a problem, the license lets you RMA a mobo and reinstall Windows (if necessary) on the replacement. If you get the same (model of) mobo back, you won't even need to reinstall.

I'm about to send out for x64 home premium, but it keeps say "We cannot process you request at the moment, try again later" I've tried multiple times today and it won't work. Are they still honoring this?

They're running their web site on Windows, and you know what that means. Just try again later.

Eh? Do you have a retail or OEM, or something else?

i have oem.. i did go to the right page based on the info on this threads first page. The lady seemed very very confused though, so i may give it a try later on. She kept on telling me to hold for her to check her "references" she studdered alot too so im not sure she knew what i was talking about. Lets see maybe the site is having issues for the moment because it didn't tell me anything was wrong with my product or key.

Well it's not a well publicized program. But, as noted in the top post, if you have OEM, you should be putting in the COA number, NOT the product key.
