I'm trying to take my old 80GB HD out of my system because I no longer use it, and it's just using power etc. Plus, I'm replacing it with a 1.5TB. For some reason, my OS doesn't boot when I disconnect that drive...my system keeps trying to boot from a system CD. Vista 64-bit is installed on its own partition on my RAID. Is there an easy fix for this?
Read first, then reply.

After a lock up and hard reboot, I got the bootmgr is missing message, forcing me to fix the problem. I could have either:
Moved the boot files from the old 80GB hard drive that vista mistakenly (it's common) put on it rather than on the RAID with the OS. Or used the vista CD to repair, which is what I did.
