Windows is also solely responsible for multiple cyber terrorism attacks on schools and hospitals for theft of data due to security flaws inherit to the OS.

I will try and find the articles to post as source.
What? Do you honestly believe that a user stupid enough to download a keylogger would be stopped simply because Linux puts up a few more roadblocks? All the program needs to do is ask for root access(which the user would obviously grant) and its game over.

Its actually easier to screw up a linux system than it is Windows because even benign software installs have a chance at damaging the system almost beyond repair.

What?

What you are saying simply isn't true. Linux systems are far more protected. For example, Package Managers use trusted sources, and as most users should be using only the package manager to install applications, this means that there are much, much lower chances of getting a virus. Combine this with the fact that you have to set files as executable to run them, makes it harder for people to run stuff without thinking.

The fact of the matter is, Linux is more secure than Windows. I'm not saying it's invulnerable, of course that isn't so, but the security system works better, and is adhered to more strictly by software (only software that really needs root will request it, unlike windows), along with Linux having better patching of security flaws.

IMO Linux < Windows just on principle.

For entertainment Windows > Linux

I mean sure, Linux can't run video games...I think trying to compile your own kernel and write your own code just to get a wireless card to work and network your computer is a game in of itself! What fun!

What on EARTH are you talking about?

Do you know the difference between a monolithic (and an ultimately single-user-maturing-into-multiuser) OS and a true multi-user OS?

Please... qualify that point with some facts.

(BTW I use windows and linux so I am not an M$ hater or even a lin fan-boy).
