We need to get away from 32bit OSes now. There is a ton of support for 64bit and that will only increase if we all switch to 64bit systems. I don't see any reason why you should be running a 32bit OS with 4gb or more of RAM. Hell, I run Vista x64 on a 1gb laptop lols.
Also, everyone who is saying not to go 64bit, what's wrong with it? I've been using it since XP x64 and there haven't been ANY major problems that weren't easy to solve within 10mins of searching. GO DIE 32bit!!! So, what are your opinions on this?

I agree, although prebuild companies will never make the change permanent because lots of programs don't have native support for 64bit. Even if they work when you tweak them a bit. Probably to avoid some technicalities.

It is going that way. What is the problem? Prohibitions are futile.

I believe Microsoft plans to have a 64-bit only version of their next Windows. However, there are still currently too many legacy and older system still around.
That is 10mins too long for 98% of PC users.

It'll happen soon enough, the only real reason to still use 32 bit is if you have an old machine that doesn't support 64
