hi all,
i am studying the windows server and so on, and i am a bit stuck, so basicly, i have setup Server 2003 on a VMware machine, its up and runing and i already setup the dhcp server and the Domain controller, and active directory. now comunication between my physical machine and the vmware if perfect. ping with 1 ms. and the vmware also has internet access. now my problem is when i try to add my physical machine to the domain i get the error ( please see screenshot attached) now what am i doing wrong ???

I can't tell you exactly how to fix your problem, but I do know single name domain names (e.g. "extreme") are much more finicky to setup than names such as "extreme.local"

well i actually set it up as extreme.gaming, but when i try to add computer to it, i can only find the domain if i type extreme, rather than extreme.gaming

Just a guess..
Did you setup a DNS server on your DC? If so Does the host OS have the DNS server set to the DC?
