The launch conf was really well done (at a local movie theater) by Microsoft.
Also got a T-shirt, windows 7 decals and some trial software.
("Surface" had a few glitches during the demo but still very kewl)

It's legit, not shopped. I got the same thing from the Atlanta launch event on Monday.
Just so you know it's 32-bit. The key can be used on a 64-bit DVD also if you can find one.

I thought the box came with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions? Or is this why it's free?

Its "not for resale" just means its OEM. It needs to be sold with a piece of hardware according to copyright laws.
