Default Problem after installing Vista x64

I installed Vista x64 on my non-branded PC along with all driver and automatic updates.

When I was in Firefox it froze completely and I had to turn the PC off by unplugging the power cable. It restarted with a 'Start Windows Normally' message and then failed to load.

Haven't turned it on since then.

PC specs are 4GB RAM DDR2 800MHz, Athlon 6000+, GTS 250 XFX 1GB DDR3

Cheers.

So this only happened after you installed Vista? Can you get into safe mode at all? If not maybe a bad OS install. Try reinstalling or repairing to see if it freezes.
