My buddy work's for a company and has a Microsoft account where I can get a OEM version.I know it's not officially released until October 22nd.Do I need to wait until then or will the RC version be the same as the final RTM version?

RC=release canditate. RTM=Release to manufacter.
When windows 7 hit the RTM stage it mean's this is the final product. RTM is what is being sent to OEM companies like dell, hp, MSI, acer, etc etc. so they can install it on their prebuild laptop's. On october 22nd these computers will hit the shelf. I hope this clears it up. if you still need help, let me know and i'll try to help you.

If I got the rc version now will it work just like the rtm version later on.I saw someone say the rc will not work after a certain date.This will be a legit rc version of any window's 7 edition that I want.I just didn't want to waste one of his key's if it wasn't the same as rtm version and stop working after a certain date.Thank's
