Default Registered Copy = Faster than RC for 7?

Hey everyone,

So I just activated my version of Windows 7 Professional and I was just wondering if anyone else noticed a speed difference between the two. (I think profession is a little faster than the RC right now)

Well, the Release Candidate wasn't the final version, so it's normal to believe that the finalized version is a bit faster since it's no longer a RC release.

True, just found it kind of funny that it was even faster than before

That's normal most of the time. The Release Candidate wasn't the final release. There were numerous builds after that before the RTM was released.

I noticed it as well. It is speedier. 3DMark 06 went up 600 points as well.
