Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2

New to Overclock.net
|
I am currently using Windows Server 2003 and I am redoing my server system. Should I get Windows Server 2008 or should I go for the R2 version? Is R2 even released? This server is for production use and I am planning to install Exchange Server 2007 as well.

Well, it is on my MSDN-AA account.
Not sure if it is released to general public right now. edit: According to Wikipedia, it is to be released today. You can get a free trial from HERE
