Ive read some where that when you partition a harddrive, the second partition get the slower part of the dive or something along those lines. Baisically what i want to know is is this true, and if true will this be noticeable in the second os?

I'm not sure what your talking about.
But right now I have 3 partitions, 1 for 7, 1 for xp and 1 for data. The speed on those partitions are all the same. I think you meant if your hdd is full, then it takes a little longer to read and write data.

What ive read, is that the second partition is closer to the center of the hdd or something which is less used and is slower then the outside (possibly the other way around) +1 rep for help so far
