Im just wandering if I buy any W7 retail how many times can I install it to different PC's(Is there a limit)? Is it only for ultimate or i can do this to, to other version of W7 like professional?

The limit is for 1 PC. However, you can buy a 3 license pack for $150 and install it on 3 computers.

Correct. If you try to install it on another computer, it will not activate and tell you to call Microsift and talk to a rep.

It depends on the license type you are buying, the better license, the more keys you have and you can have it on many machines.

I mean, from a sigle computer license, to a Family Pack and upgrade up to three PCs

okay, let me throw this one out there, lets say, somewhere down the road, i decide to overhaul my system, bigger hard drives, new motherboard, etc. would i have to buy a new copy of windows 7 because its a 'new system'?
