Default really dumb question
i am about to install windows 7 again and my mind has gone blank which is the 64bit...is it the x86 or x64

x86 comes from the 8086 processor. Anything based on that original architecture (80386, 486, etc) is x86.

on that today, when i was buying my psu my gf was looking at the g cards, and she said well is the 8800gt better then the 5770 as the number is higher, i just bust out laughing
