Default How would Windows 7 run on these specs?
I am currently running Windows XP SP3 32bit but would like to go Windows 7 Pro 32bit, but i'm not sure whether this laptop would handle it well. It came with Windows Vista originally.

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core Duo T2500 @ 2.00ghz/ 0.8ghz
RAM: 2GB DDR2 @ 532mhz (4-4-4-11)
Video: Intel 945 Express (128mb)
Screen: 1280x800

What do you guys think?

Yeah it will be alright, not blisteringly fast but it will work.

The only thing I can think of that will be a problem is running the Aero Glass theme.

It'll run just fine on that setup. I had a laptop that was much older than that and it ran it...

Excellent. Well, im'a look for a 4GB kit of RAM if it's cheap, PC5300 stuff apparently.

Then, I shall get Windows on there. I would go 64bit, but the damn CPU doesn't support 64bit instructions!

If it had Vista on it, then it will run Windows 7 well.

It probably would.

I actually retract my earlier recommendation to upgrade the RAM to 4gb unless you can find it very cheap.

The cost probably wouldn't be justified for what you use the laptop for.
