I've read several guides etc but I just need a simple answer please... I'm not sure if this has been discussed already so my apologies if it has...
__________________Bout to leave work soon, go home and install a clean install of windows xp... Followed by another install of windows 7 on another created parition... My question is if I install windows xp first followed by windows 7 do I still need to change the boot up settings with programs like easybcd or vista boot pro etc? The reason why I ask is I really don't wanna mess with important settings bec if you miss a simple step everything could be corrupt... So if I install windows. Xp first followed by 7 is that all I have to do? I've done a dual boot with xp and vista and even windows 7 and vista but reading all the guides, xp and windows 7 seems a little more complicated... Thanks

i dont think so... i have vista and win 7 just installed win7 on a new partition and on boot it just asked me if i want vista or 7 and 7 is in default position... if you want to change position just type msconfig in run and in boot part just set the os u want as default

Thanks man...
__________________But doesn't windows xp have a different boot loader to vista and 7? I think vista and 7 use 6.1 and xp uses an older 5.1... Vista and 7 should be compatible together without any modifying but I'm just worried bout xp and 7... Thanks
