I posted somethin similar in the Nvidia section, but I have a little suspicion it could be a W7 and not the card's issue.
__________________Basically the card will not display video. When booted the MOBO reverts to the onboard. the fans on the card go 100% from boot and stay that way. I downloaded the W7 drivers 64bit from nvidia, no help. The card is not in the device manager. ANY help would be appreciated.

Clear the bios? I did reset the CMOS. Should I take out the battey? Does it mean anything that the fans are going 100%?

Is there an option to completely disable the onboard video in the BIOS? Or, perhaps it's being told to try the onboard graphics first... Hrmm. I'm stretching my limits, but I want to see if I can help and learn at the same time.

No but I can do it in the device manager. When that is done it switches to a screen with resolutions similar to the bios.

Just the fans on the card itself are running at 100% right?
I remember that happened once with my 8600GTS. Basically the card wasn't seated correctly. Check that, also make sure you have the power connectors on the card securely in their place. I would also recommend dropping this into another computer just to make sure there isn't a problem with the card itself.
