Default Esc now going to windows?

So my keyboard died on me and I replaced it with the exact same kind (g15) but now when I hit esc it opens my windows start bar, no idea why or how to make it stop but it's really annoying while playing fullscreen games.

Default

Ctrl+Esc opens the start bar, so I'm guessing its something to do with that. Try giving both the CTRL keys a few taps to make sure they aren't stuck or are registered as being down for some reason. Or perhaps its sticky keys or something like that, cant find much info on it but it's somewhere to look
