sleq is right
try to install something under linux and you will feel pretty good about your self cause it liek "taking the ACT and getting 100%" hard
as soon as linux gets a decent installer i think they will take off...PEOPLE DONT LIEK THE CONSOLE ANYMORE...
We all know how in WIN you just klik next as fast as you can and then its done....

The Mandrake 10 install is about as easy as a 98 installation. But then there are some things that are a pain (temp monitoring) to get working. And if you have an ATI card, your graffics will be abit slow. ATI's linux drivers suck.

Personally, I think EVRY linux distro is good.

Some just work better for me than others.

MAndrake is a specific one that I WISH I could try- unfortunately, every time I've tried it in at least 3 years it just will not correctly complete an install.

But that is one of the beauties of linux- choice.
