I thought it was up to 8 cores per team, up to 3 per member. Which would mean 1 GPU client and 1 CPU client = 3 "cores" counted. Right?

The GPU client counts for two cores. And the SMP (assuming you're using a dual core) counts for 2 cores. So it's one or the other...

I'm not running the SMP yet. I just got vista reinstalled and all my apps up and running again so I haven't messed with the SMP yet. Which client do i need to run under Vista 32-bit? I see DEINO and MPICH versions.

EDIT: Looks like MPICH version is the most common choice. I'll give it a shot tomorrow. GPU is running in the meantime.

Most people use error10's vmware SMP, it will boost your ppd quite a bit. There's a thread in the OCN F@H forum here. Personally i think you might be better off without a team. I know i am, and i'm folding with an E8400 and 8800GT. The E8400 does around 4k ppd, but sometimes only 2k (the WUs are 2k points a piece), while my 8800 does 4-5k ppd. I have broken 10k ppd before. But the problem is that my 8800GT is like handicapped with the cap, and my E8400 doesn't always get 4k so i hate to do that.

If you get 3840pts and 1920pts alternating then you will still do more than a gpu folder.
