Looking 4 team, i have a folding farm consisting of
dual core pentium 4 2.4GHz folding on both cores bout 12hrs/day
lappy AMD mobile 1600+ folding 18hrs/day
and a P2 500Mhz, folding ocassionally

And when my sig rig becomes a reality, it will fold 24/7 on all 4 cores, waiting for april 23rd...

I wouldn't mind joining a team if one is available.
It's my sig rig, running VMware linxus SMP.
I'm folding for 7 hours a day at the least and probably a little more on the weekends. So basically if i'm at home going back and forth from the computer i will be folding.

I'm more casual, but it takes around 21 hours for me to bring in 1.7k points or so, just a rough estimate of my own.

You could contribute up to 3 cores, that is the max for any one member

Few questions.

1. Am I allowed to move one rig to a different folding name, and then use that in a team?
2. Is a quad core cpu counted as 2 or 4 cores when running SMP?
3. Is this a good idea, or just stick with my folding?

I do like the team competition, and think it would be fun to be involved in. I read the rules, but am not quite sure how to interpret them as far as my personal folding vs team folding.

Answers:
1. Yes, I use vanilla_eitz for the competition, vanilla_eitz2 for the extra CPUs
2. It is counted as 4. However, you were running two clients on each quad, right? Set up one with your name for the competition and the other for all of your extra CPUs.
3. IMO, the competition is a really good idea. It adds fun and competition to folding.
