Uh-oh... i think i screwed up somehow. I didnt install the second hard drive i just partitioned and install via windows longhorn bootloader and now i cant get in vista! This will be very very very bad in my case if this is true. The partition is there with windows on it but i can't get in at all there is no option what so ever no matter what i try.

Ya...the 2nd os install takes over the boot loader for the os's. But I am sure that it is fixable. Unfortunately my Linux is really rusty so you'll have to do a search about a fix. Doesn't Mint have a forum for help? Check there first and I wouldn't be surprised if it is in one of the faq's.

Just did a fast google search (mint bootloader can't access vista) and this looks promising EasyBCD

Yep, found the FAQ's but none of them work. I did read that that there is a possibility that i will never get back in... That's Bad it had all my wedding pics, baby pics etc... and those are the only copies so im in deep sht if i can't get it to work. All the things it told me to try don't work. (Sweating bullets).

I edited my post just above you. And as rusty as I am I think that there is some kind of option to access different fat formats somewhere. Or do a quick search for software that can do it. I know that I had this option when I was running linux back a decade or so. Good luck and don't worry too much, the data is still there....
