I'm at home now and I've downloaded the F@H client. My PS3 does not have wireless, so I have to connect using an ethernet cable. I found out the upstairs TV finally crapped out (27" Sony CRT from 1993). The only way I can connect to the internet is at my study, but my monitor only accepts VGA, while the living room has 1080i but no internet

I managed to download the Folding client without video, but I found a way to get both. My X1800GTO has VIVO capabilities so I'm going to see if that works. Then I will be able to start folding

Cool, those ps3 are folding monsters.

I am starting to get concerned about OCN folding, we've had no tallies for 2 weeks and I seen other teams break apart.

I am still a noob folding here, is this normal.

Well, my scores seem to be recording...it does sometimes seem to talk awhile to update though.

oh no! Looks like I won't be able to fold with my PS3 at least for this month. Due to complicated issues I won't be bringing it back to college so it will just stay home...

So I guess I will just keep going with what I have...

Well, i found out that my board can't handle a C2D...so, we will be going with a Pentium D at 3.4 Ghz....do you think that could handle the SMP client? I would be going with no, because it actually performs worse than a 1.8 Ghz C2D

Should be able to do smp, I would think. It will be close on the smp deadlines. Might be a little faster if u run some sort of linux setup.
