It's been sorted out with the appropriate people that I have switched back to the CPU folding. I think an exeption was made because I was having some major issues.

Ya Outcasst, you are good to go for the vm smp folding and the 1st page has you listed as such. But I gotta say this, if problems come up again we will have to have you listed as a gpu folder for the rest of the month. We/You are getting some slack because of the problems you were/are facing but it is almost all used up for this problem. So to be fair next time it is gpuville for you. You probably will/would get more points even at the cap.

As to them big wu's that you and Rolandooo are getting, it would seem that is what Stanford does with new users, give them big ****ty wu's and after that you will be using the FahCore_a2 cores instead of the a1's. Night and Day between the two of them.

Ya I think Outcasst is the slow one. I see that you are turning in them wu pretty good. I'll pm Outcasst in a bit.

Next week, Tuesday, I'll have my gtx+ card and hopefully by Friday I might have my new(ish) 9850. Which isn't going to help us get higher up on the food chain but I will help me with my totals. )

ps: I was going to pm him but then I read his last to me again. He is on one of them 3400 pointers and this pm was 20 hours ago when he said he has 1d20 left on it. I'll wait til the the end of the day before I bug him and probably he'll add something here for an update. After that you two should get a steady supply of 1920 wu to chew on. And get away from that a1 core. If your Fahmon log shows the below you know you are using the newer and faster smp core;

[14:25:34] Folding@Home Gromacs SMP Core
[14:25:34] Version 2.04 (Thu Jan 29 16:43:57 PST 2009)

Alright guys, sorry for the slow WU but there's really nothing I can do :P

There's 18 hours left to go until we get another 3400 points. Hopefully i'll get a better work unit after that with the a2 core

Hiya guys, well it happens from time to time. I don't know who's shoe I got but it must have been from a winner. I think the only time I got some wu other than a 1920 was the first, and maybe the 2nd, wu when I started my vm smp. I did have one of them 5101s but my machine locked up tighter than a nun....well you know. When I reset my system and got the vm running I got an error about corrupted data...I swear it's the truth.

Hey, can you two post up your Fahom's screeny of the vm smp running? I am doing some thinking and comparing...thanks.

Ignore the other one that says *hung* its working fine.

My 9800GX2 is struggling with my Q6600's both 100%, but I am just a PSU away from making my second dedicated folding rig, so I will put the GX2 on there.

Also forgot to mention I have a E8500 that does 4ghz easily, just not sure how much higher I can get it on the DFI P35 DK (may get it higher than the DFI X38)

Hey Outcasst and Rolandooo. Thanks for posting the fahmon pics. You two are at about 1700ppd and considering some of the other team's member are getting anywhere from 2200 to over 4000 ppd there is room for change and advancement.
