Hmm... or I could just grab that E6400 for $85 right now. It's been lapped an will apparently run at 3.5GHz. I only have 1GB of RAM right now though, but that E6400 is a really good deal.

I have seen people do 3.6GHz on the E6400 (air) but it only has a 2mb l2 cache

True and 3.5 GHz is better than 3.0 Ghz...Also I think I am back up and running without errors again. I had to delete out my work directory not sure why but it seemed to help

Alright, I think I'm gonna buy that E6400 instead of the memory. Once I start folding on that, we should start climbing the ranks a bit faster.

I think a cpu will make a bigger difference but the next upgrade you will want is some faster ram

I've actually decided to go with an E6600 instead. I think the 4MB L2 cache will be a good benefit as well as it being lapped and able to do 3.8GHz at 1.52v.

Must be a really nice E6600 most only do 3.6 GHz on air
