Ok all brownouts are probably coming from my house.

Nice! I wish I could get that much ppd.

Sorry if I've been lacking lately but I have had some troubles. I really need your guys' help. I can't seem to get 3.8 stable and I was hoping you could advise on how to go about getting it. Right now I'm running 3.6 with stock voltage on everything. It's 24hrs stable with Prime. When I tried to get 3.8 I got it to boot with 1.45 to the CPU but that was it. I have no clue on what to put the NB or anything else at. So if you have any advice it would be much appreciated.

BTW the rig is back up and going so I should be making good progress.

I don't know your board, I mean on my stupid gigabyte I give it +2v to fsb and +2v to mch, and you should be safe giving your cpu up to 1.5v if the temps stay at or below 60C under full load. Beyond that if your board isn't one where they add voltage, just try making very small bumps and watch the nb temp, I would say you don't want over the low 50s, mine is running at around 53C and thats the hottest one I have on a nb temp.

When I tried 3.8 with 1.45 I got about 69c load so I shut it off and went back to 3.6. Even with 3.6 I still get about 64c load. I'm not too happy with those temps but I've reseated my sink about 5 times over the past couple months with no improvements. I'll try some different voltage settings with the NB and CPU but it probably won't happen until this weekend when I get some time.

What are the ambient temps in your house? What kind of paste are you using?

When I got up for work I found my main folder dragging rear again...stupid "cannot write file" "core shutdown" again...it did two work units fine, then gave me that error and fudged two units, then did 3 units fine and now were back again...this is getting stupid.

The good news is all the others survived and now I am folding on my gaming sig rig.
