Lemans, nope, I was thinking of running both the new 98gt and my 96gt on this system. Sometime before December 30th I'll do my StepUp with Evga and get another 9800. It will cost $24. I was looking, drooling maybe, at the gtx cards but they are about 50 more than I can spend this month and I do want a better card for gaming and folding. I can always put the 96 in my brand new m2n-sli mobo, hookup a psu and start folding on that, I would need a cheap x2 but they can be had.

The problem with 2500 is that mean gpu folders can get 75000 points, which means anyone not running at least 3.9ghz won't even be able to compete. Everyone with an older cpu will be out of the competition and they are the main aim of the competition. At 2250 they score 67500 which is still reasonable, and leaves anyone running at least 3.5ghz still competitive.
3500 makes it 105,000 and would leave even the best cpu folders out in the wind, gpu would rule and would make all cpu folding worthless, which would suck.

I think we need to do a FOLDING ALL OUT competition for just the teams for a week or something. Run everything you got. I know Gibby would win, but it would be fun to see the team members each get a bigger jump for one month.
