Actually, there have been a number of tests that show that a higher FSB doesn't really increase performance at all these days. I just have my FSB high because it allows me to have my RAM clocked at the perfect speed.

A high fsb + the same clock speed is always going to perform faster in general providing it leaves you ram running at a decent speed.

There was some guy who did some very thorough testing that showed there's pretty much no performance gain. If I could find it, I'd link to it. I know it was on hardforum.com.

Would be an interesting read. I always find more fsb faster but must admit i haven't done a huge amount of comparisons.

Well guys I drove all the way to work because I'm dieing here., Had once again another storm come through and apparently according to Armstrong lightning hit their tower and I have had no internet since 10:00pm Fri. night.

So yea, I have had a WU finished since Sat. morning and can't send it in or get another project to work on obviously.

And now that I have come on here and see how far behind we are in points it really sucks. I hope it is back up sometime today. I am getting signal from the tower but no actual response yet so at least it shows Armstrong is working on the problem.

And before anybody says I don't have a tower for my internet, yes unfortunately I do since I am completely wireless, it really sucks living in bfe, but it's so peaceful.

But yea, I gotta kinda leave here before anybody realizes I'm here so hope to be back up sometime Sun.
