Me too Ranger. That Stanford can be so flakey. It seems like they always count them sooner or later. They BETTER. I guess if we see 3 in a row with the other guy. No worries eh

Thanks Ranger. Same with you. We work too damn hard to run these as fast as possible to have Stanford not count them. From what I understand.....if you turn in a WU and the main server is not online or overloaded or down....then it goes to a "collection server". Then they turn around sometime in the future and empty that server out and give credit for the WU's.
You can go to this thread from Stanford and complain/inform if you KNOW it turned in, but you never scored the points. http://foldingforum.org/viewforum.php?f=18

I hope my points get counted, looks like I haven't been doing anything but I know 2 went in yesterday and one went in this morning so there is liek 3 WU's not showing.

Seems like they have been having more issues this month then ever, maybe that is a good thing. Just so many people turning in WU's the server can't handle it lol. Nope all is good, went and checked and all my WU's are in, I always get messed up with teh timezone they use.

Anyways, yea not much else goin on here so I guess I'll just say hello to all and hope all is going well.

Looks like Stanford lost a ton of SMP work units from yesterday. The worst part is. They didn't even realize it. They offer no explanation. And have not even responded to anybody complaining of a lost WU. Normally they have an explanation for everything. Their silence on this one is a little concerning.

Um so the ones showing up on kakao aren't showing up and won't show up for Stanford stats?

Right. Kakao and Extreme get their data from the Stanford database.
If Stanford doesn't score the WU. They won't ever show it.
Stanford has yet to respond to any of the concerns. 1 guy lost SEVEN WU's

BTW guys got stuck with a 33xx point job, really dragging down my average, should be done in about 20-45 minutes.

a 33XX? Never had one of those before. I'll have to look that up. I have some bad news for Ranger, myself, and possibly Racer too. Stanford thinks they did not credit the WU's we turned in late on the 21st.

Moderator: "If it was lost, I'm sorry to say it won't get credit. Things break, and occasionaly points get lost. It's rare but it happens, with all computer systems, or distributed computing projects"

Just remember at the end of the month. Ranger and I really had 1760 more points than it showed
