OK, So I don't quite understand why there are teams withing the overall Team. Is this just a way to push each other harder?

Why join a team?

Not that any team would want me with my ppd output but I just don't quite get it.

Yeah its just kind of a way for OCN users to compete among each other but still be a part of the overall OCN team.

I'm still stuck in the past.

Dropped from top 40 on guru3d to like 150 before coming here. LOL

But a great Folder on this site has donated me some parts so I will contributing about another 8k ppd or so under his name within a week.

Well, for the ones of us that aren't power folders it still gives us a chance to kinda challenge and push each other harder just as you said. It just adds a bit of fun to it instead of just being like, "you need 20 gpu's and 30 quads" so no matter how little you provide it can still be seen in the larger picture when you can look and see your team as a whole within the ocn team contributed say 200k points for the month.

I'm not explaining it very well, but someone will come in and explain it better.

I know I enjoy team competition a hair more then just trying to get the most wu's in with all the power folder's, and it's even enough fun that some power folders have come back to team folding just for fun.(of course they keep their farms up still)

But in the end I guess it really doesn't matter exactly any at all because F@H still wins in the end which is the imprtant thing.

It just adds a bit if fun in my mind.
