Changing the cap for team competition
We have decided to raise the cap from 2,000 ppd to 2,350 ppd. This is just a trial basis. We will try this for a month, and look at the results. At the end of the month we can make a decision whether further changes need to be made. Here are some numbers that Lemans81 worked on, so you get an idea how it will shape up.
Basically we are going to talk about a 31 day month. Current cap of 2,000, with four members, they could hit 248,000 points. The new cap of 2,350, with four members, they could hit 291,400 points. The move from 2,000ppd to 2,350ppd will allow gpu members to add an extra 10,850 points each, and a team total gain of 43,400 points Old vs New 248,000 - 291,400

Sounds good. Glad this is being done. This cap also affects quad-cores I'm assuming.

I have no problem with what ever the gpu cap is. I realize like the rest of these guys that have gpu's will be 4th place to the top 3 teams that smp fold like crazy. It's really simple that you have to smp fold to be the best.
I am actually thinking I more then anyone should leave this competetion cause I am becoming a power folder, but I am a team player and want to help.
