Looks like I'm gonna have to try these new drivers out. I think I only have 32-bit installed on that rig though. Will that make a difference?

Ouch, that hurts. So 64-bit is the successful way and more then likely a must.

It appears so

Only Vista 64-bit... Folders using XP did not notice any increase.

He is right, vista64 is the way to go. Ranger98 tested xp and found no gain, then came and got one of my 64 bit vista copies. I have seen 8800GS's getting 7K ppd with those drivers.

I beg to differ. I have not tested the new drivers in 64 bit but on 32 bit, my ppd literally doubled. Bludevil and Ictinike have seen significant increase in the performance as well.

That's weird... The folding@home client would not work for me when I switched to the 185.xx drivers...

How did you go about installing it?

Hhhmmm, well I'll make it a point to at least try then, maybe after I get off work today I'll see what I can finagle.

Is it any of the 185.xx drivers a specific one?(haven't looked at NV drivers for months now so I have no idea where they're at)

How did you go about installing it?

I just unzipped the file, and launched setup.exe, completed the installation and restarted my pc. Nothing unusual. Not sure why its not working for every one?
