As for the others on the team Just Be Cause... I'm totally lost and getting frustrated with this!
CyberDruids 1 dual core is designated to the team
Stevo is going to try to edit whatever to indicate his dedicated PCs
The Pyro, I don't have a clue with him, he still does not have his icon back yet.

Hi Duke,

I don't know if this is going to help, but here it goes...
I fold for myself - 455buick with 3 rigs for Folders Inc.
I can't use any more computer rigs for our team, based on the rules. So according to taeric I took my 4th rig and have it folding for "Team_Folders_Inc". I just started this today...

How I did that. If you right click on the gear icon, configure, you get a dialog window. Right there on the first line it says:
User Name - In here I put Team_Folders_Inc
In the next line it says:
Team Number - In here I put 37726 for overclock.net

When I check my folding it reads the above. I have yet to complete my first WU with this rig, so I hope all will go well... This way overclock gets credit for WU's and points and I guess our team gets some "brownie points"... Whatever they are, he,he,he...

BTW - I'm also asking our team members - shajbot, cappy, LBN, and peroxide to place any additional rigs they have and want to fold with (above and beyond the team competition) into this "Team".

I hope this helped, :-)

So CyberDruid is Just_Be_Cause!
The rest of us are still on our original name.
Duh, I get it now

Unfortunately, the scoring doesn't work that way. All points are tallied based on individual user names. The generic team names count towards team 37726 but are not figured into the competition in any way.

I guess I don't get it, probably never will understand what the heck is going on to determine the cores that are dedicated to a team!

If you use your folding name, it goes to the team. It's that simple.

Up to three computers under the name of (team member) can fold for Just Be Cause, by folding under their individual names, to a maximum of 8 computers per team.

Any excess computer from a team member (=who has 4 folding PCs), should make one of his computers (least powerful?) fold under the name of the team JBC, so that it won't count any points in overclock.net's competition, but still folds for the cause, and for team 37726. But it still gives brownie points to team JBC.

I just got into folding and would love to join the team... there's only one problem. I have 6 machines currently folding at the moment. So any advice you veteran and expert folders could give would be appreciated.

All your computers can fold for team 37726 (overclock.net), just put that number in the configuration.
Then just post your folding name in the "Folders check in here" thread, and you'll get your folding icon.

After that, you can join a "local" team, where 4 members with up to 8 cores total and up to 3 cores each, compete against other teams.

So join a team (look for a thread with "# members needed"), and up to three computers can fold under your name (unless the other members already have 6 cores). The rest can't enter the competition, but can keep folding under the name of the team (doesn't count for scores though).

With 3 computers under your belt, you'll be welcomed by any team needing members
