3000+PPD is easily done on two cores..forget 3.
Running a vmware/linux SMP @ 3.8ghz, the e6700 can turn under 9min per %, and can complete ~2 WU's in a 24hr period. *btw, I think I will be 'resigning' from my folding team [sorry my94rt] I really dont have any involvement in the team...and am starting to build up quite a farm. I have added some more cpu's and am up to 14 cores active now...though only 3 are running currently..I am completing the cooling setups on my two main SMP rigs, and will be upgrading the cooling/OC on my Q6600 also. I think I will just continue to fold for OCN, as I wont have to segregate my cores any longer, and can dump them all on my one user name. I am shooting for 6K ppd by the middle of next month.

Feburary started off like January finished up with Team owners taking charge of the team competition.

Team owners continues to cruise along in the lead, despite a slow week. There is a tight battle for third place with only 74 separating two teams. Six teams are on pace to break 100k this month. We should have a goal as a group to hold that number steady or increase it every month.
