You don't limit your folding power, don't do that just to be on a team. Simply use them to help pimp you team out and just give the points to the team name not your folding name so you still show folding power of that team.

But only 8 cores counted max being 3 to any one person. Those will be counted in the competition but the team name points are just well donated points to a good cause.

And I guess keep in mind it is not meant for power folders, just you know single rig owners or single folding rig owners but so you can kinda have that extra push to encourage folding, what better than a competition.

Im not saying Gibson would join a team, I'm just using an extreme example of what COULD happen if the rules were written as you described. Our former member's points should count up until I PMed taeric with the change and then commence adding FreeRoller's points where Johan left off.

8 core limit shouldn't affect this, it doesn't have anything to do with it, we stayed in the rules and our points should be counted as such.

And don't say we're only bringing it up because we were in first. You would do the EXACT same thing if your points were being subtracted because of a replacement.

Obviously you can't take a bit o humor, sarcasm, and to think I even tried to add some humor in here

The part about you all and 1st place was a bit o friendly jabs, you generally seem rather fun and joking around the forum so thought I could poke at you. Please forgive me

Anyway, after sitting and

( a bit o pondering), yes, you should have partial points from both, but only for their time of service. I just generally thought and assumed Tearic just traded points due to the increased time and work for having to manually look up last WU given on what date vs the time told and to add from the time told to the end of the month. You know what I mean, Albert Einstein comes to mind for some reason, some will know why.

I see both sides on this issue, I really do. But gentlemen, do you realize with all the workload Taeric has, how difficult it would be to find the exact points where one team member left off, and the other started.

Because this is a team compition, it has to be absolutely fair. Without knowing the exact points of the leaving member, it wouldn't be 100% accurate, hence, not being fair. So, without knowing the exact numbers, the only choice would be to not use the numbers from the leaving member and start fresh with the new member.

I completely understand the point, that you should be able to end with one member and continue with the new member, but you see where the problem lies now? It's the exact number. I do believe that we need to state this in the rules as Jade has pointed out.

You hit it on the dime. Taeric is trying his best to gather all the points and why should we put more work on him when he already has a lot.

Seems like Taeric needs a folding admin buddy to help keep track of everything going on
