Team Smirnoff FTW appears to be cruising to an easy win in October. There's a tight race for third place that will likely come down to the wire.
  1. 131803 Team Smirnoff FTW (full team)
  2. 104162 Team Just Be Cause (full team)
  3. 92301 Team CPU Burners (3 active members)
  4. 59871 Team Overclock Foldowzers (full team)
  5. 58719 Team Angry Penguins (3 active members)
  6. 55420 Team Folders Inc. (full team)
  7. 54842 Team mixers (full team)
  8. 50866 Team Victorious Secret (full team)
  9. 47456 Team C2D (full team)
  10. 39392 Team Folding Folders (1 active member)
  11. 22694 Team ArMaDa (2 active members)
  12. 18150 Team Slow-'n-Low (2 active members)
  13. 17423 Team Ninjas with Lasers (1 active member)
  14. 17122 Team Average Joes (3 active members)
  15. 13370 Team Zang! (2 active members)
  16. 8837 Team RatRod (full team)
  17. 3152 Team Black Lines Drawn (2 active members)
  18. 2834 Team Lone Folders (2 active members)
  19. 1033 Team X-Treme (1 active member)
The number of active members for each time is listed above. This is based on members who have submitted work in the month of October. Team captains need to keep their teams staffed with active members. Team competition participants need not be power folders, but they do need to actively fold. Team RatRod is a good example. While they do not produce a large amount of points, each member of the team does contribute, which is the whole point of the competition.

Any of you guys folding with Linux? I'm not talking through VMWare, just straight Linux. I'm just trying to think about how I can improve my points output because my work units are pretty good, but I don't earn as many points through them. I did finally get SMP working a couple of days ago in Vista, so I guess that helps.

Oh, and good job everyone.

Folding straight Linux is faster than VMware.
