BUMP for new team player. If you've been an OCN member for a long time and have been folding solo, join us... we want another long term member for our group.

Default Zang! Points Update

Here is a mid-update update:

Jimmy2Shoe: 22,526
Vanilla Eitz: 10,102
Apavlov: 1,538

Total: 34166

That's pretty good.... I don't know how long we'll be able to fend of the competition though.... Looks like I'm going for nearly 40k this month.

I can contribute 7 cores.

Two in my main system, 2 in my laptop (both C2D), my wife Athlon, my son's Athlon, my other son's Athlon and even an old P4 if you want for a total of 8.

Actually, now that I think about it, I have a really old IBM laptop monitoring a router that I could throw in, but it is certainly quite slow. Still, that would be 9 cores.

That's quite a folding armada you have there! Couple of quick questions:

1- Have you ever folded before?
2- Do you aware of the various consequences of folding (cost of electricity for example)
3- Do you think you could be with us for the long haul?

In any case, only a max of 3 cores would be retained for the team competition, the balance could be folding under an alternative name, such as Team_Zang! or any other name of your choosing.

Truth is we've had issues with members joining and leaving, so ideally we would like somebody who is willing to stick around, no matter how small the contribution.

Regards,

Jimmy
