Nice drop in temp. Would be pretty awesome if you can get yourself and a few friends to chip in and lower the cost for all of you.

Actually it's not that expensive. This guy sells the powder on eBay for $20 with free shipping for 25 carats of diamond powder. If you haven't used your 10% off code yet, it's only $18. lol actually after August 21, I'll try this and anyone that wants to contribute let me know. I forgot that I've got almost $30 in eBay bucks to use between August 21 and September 21.

http://cgi.ebay.com/DIAMOND-POWDER-2...QQcmdZViewItem

All you need from there is the 2 silicon tubes and you're pretty much good to go.

Hmmmm, I might have to get a buddy of mine in on this so we can give this a try.

In theory, it's a genius idea. VERY efficient means of transferring heat (2x at the least and 5x at best) compared to silver, as well as a semi-cheaper paste (depending on dosage and such). I might try this out and may make it available depending on the interest and demand. (Artisan program)

I call bee-ess on the reported temps, though. That's a better drop than a perfect lap on a CPU and cooler.

The testing methodology is extremely poor in this review. Utterly useless results. Also, there is no way that a compount that is less than 40% diamond by weight would see dramatic improvements in temps over any decent compound.
