Default The tools of cooling.

So I am thinking of getting into extreme cooling and benching, and am wondering what tools to get. These are the things I think I need so far.

•Digital multimeter I am definitely getting this or an eight mode one from ace because I have a workers discount.

•IR Thermometer Is this one ok?

•Soldering station recommended by Dr. Voltmod himself.

•Need a thermometer with probes so I can measure my temps more accurately, please recommend one.

That is what I have so far, I am looking for quality but I don't want to spend a bunch.

Well, your going to need a speciality soldering iron with a damn near pinpoint tip. With a Digital Multimeter, research them. Cost =/= Better, even though it helps. Also, get a good pair of Helping Hands and a good light.

Other than that, your good.

That soldering station was recommended by CL3P20, it is the one he uses for all his voltmods. Also I saw that the Fluke 87-5 is one of the most highly thought of DMMs and I have heard that they make good thermometers also, so I might get those items from Fluke.
