Default How long can I keep "Aluminum Oxide" thermal paste?

I recently used some T-C Grease 0098 for my CPU cooler and I probably won't need it again for a while. How long should I be able to keep it and would I have to mix it if I wanted to use it again? The paste is in a syringe.

Jees shelf life of TIM? i would say at least 2-3 years. I had some tim once that did eventually dry out and just become like plastic gunk so its not "forever" like some might think.

Make sure the cap is screwed down as much as possible and it should last quite awhile. Nothing to get worried about. If it does dry out before the next time you use it, a new tube isn't hard to come by.

TC Grease 98 is pretty thick and shouldn't separate and it doesn't have many volatiles or components prone to corroding. It will probably last at least several years if kept closed.

Thanks for the comments.

I emailed TIM-C and they said that the shelf life is quoted at 2 years, but it should last for 5 years.
