I like the vapor tech myself. You could always go back to the old days with pelters and TEC's too. From what I saw in there though, I have only seen Phase change units actually used by ultra enthusiast. If you take a gander at that part of the forum here on the OCN there a pictures of guys who have gotten down to -100c core for 24/7. Talk about cold.

That foamed metal looks awesome. Could you imagine having a foamed metal heatsink in your case, especially it if was lit up with cold cathode and led?

some of those look very promising.... really digging the carbon ones {well not all of them}
but most on the last 2 maybe 3 pages look way out there.
