Hey. Pretty simple question, wich thermal compound on the market is the best?
I'm using AS5 atm and I'm happy with it, but once I get my aftermarket cooler (in 4 weeks) I have to buy new thermal paste aswell. So, wich thermal compound is the best??

Recommend using OCZ freeze. super inexpensive, top level results, zero curing time. What more could you want?

MX-3 and OCZ Freeze are my choices, due to their awesome cooling, and ease of application.
Cool Laboratory liquid Metal Pro is technically the best (I'm sure) but it's annoying to spread, and not worth the slight drop in temps.

Okay, I'll take a look at those two. Btw one more question, what is the best way to apply thermal paste to a quad CPU? I've heard it's the line method but what do you think?

That's what I do, and I've had great success with it. It always gives me great temps.
