I'm too cheap to buy online for that plug unless I'm getting other things to go with it. 10 bucks for the plug and 10 bucks for shipping it seems.

You don't need the 8 pin anyways, it gets plenty of power from the slot and the 2 x 6 pins.

I was refering to both. more of using the EPS plug as the 8 plug pci-e. Iknow it's not needed to have the 6pin but I'm just anal about a few things in life.

alright, so is there a way to go from a 4pin molex to a P4 motherboard 4pin? i have a donor P4 clip and 4 pin molex, and a decent psu, and i REALLY dont want to have to wait on a shipment from wherever, but i dont want to fry meh new motherboad. is it possible to do that?
