Hey i was wondering, is there a way for if i bought an 8800 GT, and then used that for video processing, to take my 8600, stop it from video processing, and just have it deal with the physics? Because then technically id have a stronger physics card than you can buy standard from a store right now with the max memory being 128 mb.

oh, im sorry, i think i accidently put this in the wrong place. i saw "other hardware mods" and i posted here, but now that im looking around the rest of this section im seeing this is more for cases. sorry again, ill go look for a better place to post.

Really you're just wanting the same thing as an AEGIA physX card, and they are a waste of money. High end graphics cards can handle more than enough physics calculations on their own - maybe with the exception of crysis

Soon you may be able to since nVidia bought ageia, but they haven't released anything as of yet. It's worth hanging onto your card to see, any 8800 card is supposed to work.
