Default mx518 painted! hl2 fans rejoice!
I started with the plan of painting my grey mx518 red and black. First i removed the logitech emblem with a screwdriver, filling in the hole with some bondo and sanding it smooth. Next I took it appart, primed it, painted it red, then taped it. I made a complex pattern of lightning with painters tape. Next I painted it black and clear coated it. Thats when disaster struck, because they were different brand the clear coat reacted with the back paint and made it turn into a stick goo. I was furious, grabbed my dremel and sanded it down to the plastic. For a quick fix, I painted it red, made a hl2 stencil, and this is what I have now. Enjoy!

nah feels the same, a little better IMO because theres no logitech piece, nice and smooth.

i clear coated my BF2142 edition G5 and it looks great also. i konw the feeling of a different mouse.
