Default Speaker conversion-loudspeaker to 2.2

Right now I'm almost done with this. Here's what I did.
We had some old huge loudspeakers (that's what there called right?) laying around, and they were too big to be useful, so I ripped out the drivers and, well the pics tell the rest...

The satellites in progress...

The subs in progress...

speaker-conversion-loudspeaker-2-2-pict3148.jpg

The amp (yes its external)...

speaker-conversion-loudspeaker-2-2-pict3152.jpg

sub...

Inside...

Right now the boxes are all assembled, and I'm in the process of painting them. I'll post another pic later. All the boxes are sealed with silicone, except one seam of the satellites (it was hard to get at, and the glue probably sealed it anyway) they're all put together with glue, and the subs have some screws with putty over the holes. *The satellites are 3/8" plywood and the subs are 3/4" (I think) particle board.* There are knobs controlling sub and mid volume on the subs and satellites, and each piece has an rca chassis mount. All thats left is painting, and sealing up the ports and the drivers.

Not sure what you mean by deeper, but the ports are tuned for the mid 40's. The drivers are rated to go down to 40hz so thats as good as I can do...

Completed!
speaker-conversion-loudspeaker-2-2-pict3207.jpg
speaker-conversion-loudspeaker-2-2-pict3208.jpg

in my room...subs and amp under bed...
speaker-conversion-loudspeaker-2-2-pict3216.jpg
left satellite...
speaker-conversion-loudspeaker-2-2-pict3217d.jpg
right satellite...
speaker-conversion-loudspeaker-2-2-pict3218.jpg
*sry fixed attachments*
So far, it turned out somewhat succesful, the subs don't quite get the low frequencys, but its ok for me. Basically the bass drum is weak, but under the bed it sounds better. The dome tweeters' detail makes up for the bass though.
