You can get it from eBay; also, there are many online retailers who carry composite cloths.

Thanks for taking a gander, Gents.

As previously stated I have some experimentation to do.

In the instance of this thread, I will udpate Post #1 as opposed to adding within the body of the thread.

Any reason you chose the plain weave (just curious)? I use 2x2 twill on pretty much everything- granted the plain weave stays straight better on flay panels. Most of my projects are bagged though.

succinctly - ignorance.

... I purchased what was at the store. I did a fair amount of reading, and the basics were already in place (i.e. weight) as they transfer from other experiences that I have had with fabrics and denims - yes.... I can sew

You seem to be versed in this Field; would you be willing to comment and share. Any entries or changes that I make will be noted as yours.

I realise that you are using CF in your case mod entry, so I will understand if you wish to refrain from letting too much out of the bag.

VERY interesting. In the new house I'm moving into theres going to be an entire garage devoted to "shop" so hopefully I'll be able to step up my case modding action and play with some of this stuff!

My hands yearn for something to mold.

Righteous.

Questions:

Can you explain the various types of weaves, and their inherent strengths and weakness' insofar as rigidity across compound angles?

You bag: How do you keep the top layer and the resin smooth as the plastic tends to bunch up? ... or do you use forms?

What would I need in order to make stuff from the "baggin" technique?

How do you cut CF?

I appreciate your time. Thank you.
