Can anyone suggest a good 2-part epoxy that won't decimate the brain-cell count?

I've used the System 2000 epoxies from Fibreglast and they work quite well; this week they even have them for 20% off and a flat rate $9.95 shipping. The resin is purchased separately from the hardener so you chose the appropriate hardener based on the desired working time.
You can also check out the epoxy resins on fiberlay.com They seem to be a bit less expensive but I have to personal experience with them. Edit: Remember, no vinyl-ester resins (aka Marine epoxy; even so it's not an epoxy) or polyester resins

Danke, radodrill.
![]() That looks quite promising. I noted that the description states "amber"... does the epoxy dry clear in color or amber? No biggie... just curious.

When mixed the epoxy is a light amber; but when it cures it's pretty much clear, with fiberglass it does have a slight amber tint but on carbon fiber (and most other composite materials) the tint isn't really noticeable and appears clear.

I use and recommend West System by Gudgeon Brothers. Available through most marine suppliers (like West Marine)
If you use the slowest Catalyst (Resin) (#207 or #209) with the Epoxy (#105) and your goo will have a longer pot life in your Sunny climate. A tip: Use large mixing pots so that the goo doesn't go KE crazy and start to hrden before you can use ut all.... A thinner layer will take no longer to get useless in the pot basically...
