Front panel audio connectors
I have a front panel audio connector that supports like 3 formats with pass-thru connectors for, IntelHD, AC97, and something else. I only use the intel HD connection to the head on the xfi extreme gamer card, the other two are unused and ugllifying my cable management. the wire is like
Case Front panel------------------iHD-->XFI Card .........................ac97---audioX--/ (periods for spacing text) I had to fold back the unused parts and wrap the wire with electrical tape. My question is can I cut off the unused connectors without affecting the iHD, since the iHD is first in the chain?
