Help, I need 2 VelociRaptors!
Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm looking for 2 WD VelociRaptors HDD's rated at 10,000rpm and 300gb. Who know's if it has been released yet and where to buy it. Thanks in advance!

I heard that AlienWare will use them in their area51 or watever rigs, but I' can't find a place that has them. Even WD site doesn't sell them.... ***?

Western Digital likes to do paper launches. After announcing the 7200.11, it took them 2-3 months to become available in retail channels. I would say the VelociRaptors won't be on sale at Newegg for another month or maybe two.

i heard in a maximum pc podcast that they will be coming out in 2 weeks. Only alienware will sell them in thier prebuilt rigs for now. But near the middle-end of may they will be here at 300$ a drive.
