IMPULSE: Caved and bought the Fry's USB LED light...
That's right.
I caved in. It's not much of a mod but it *seriously* helps me when making BIOS changes. And well before my USB powered G11 keyboard has a chance to lite up. (finding that f10 key in the dark is a BEEYATCH!!!)  ...  ... So, yeah. It's nearly worthless. But since it shines it's lovely light down on my F10 key. At least then I'll always know where to go when recovering from a bunk overclock crash.
